Show customers your business is real

Every listing on Get Sitters starts out unverified. That does not mean it is fraudulent, only that we do not yet know who owns it. A verified listing has been checked by our staff and confirmed to belong to its owner or manager, and it carries a green Verified Listing badge.

What a verified listing gets

• A Verified Listing badge - visitors see that a real owner stands behind the listing, which makes them more likely to request a booking
• Spam flag protection - visitors cannot mark your business as spam and have it removed from our sites
• Ranked above unverified listings - in your area, your listing shows ahead of businesses that have not been verified
• Found by "Verified only" searches - visitors who filter for verified businesses will see yours

How to get verified

1. Find your listing. Search for your business, open its page and click Unverified Listing under its name. Not listed yet? Add your listing first. It is free.
2. Pay the one-time fee. Verification is $35, once, for one listing. There is no subscription.
3. Show us you own it. Send basic proof that you are the owner or a manager, for example a business license or a document with the business name and your name on it.
4. We check it by hand. Our staff review your documents and switch your listing to verified. The badge appears as soon as they do.

Want more than a badge?

Verification only confirms who owns the listing. It does not feature it. The Premium and Professional plans also put your listing at the top of search results and add online booking, client management and your own website. Compare all plans.
